SLO County Parks has been working hard to make the underappreciated El Chorro Regional Park a more kick-ass destination. While The Siren is already slinging food, booze and hosting live music near the Top Tracer golf games, there’s much more in store. Zip lines and roughly a dozen tent-style cabins are in the works (pending County permits) and may just be ready by this summa. Electric go-karts and mini golf are envisioned, though the county doesn’t have funding quite yet. We’ll just say, yassss please. Whether you’re looking to impress your bae or have some family fun, El Chorro will be the place to be.
