New plan has high hopes for unhoused
Local services for our unhoused population are doing their best, but some think they’re not completely interconnected and there are def too many hoops people have to jump through. Oh, and the rent is too damn high! (duh). Sam Blakeslee and Greg Gillet announced a new plan to create a JPA (a govt agency formed by multiple govt’s) to coordinate services and attract more funding. We like the part about building more tiny home villages and shelters. NIMBYs will hate it fo sho, but are the claims in this plan new solutions to tackle this problem? The proposal asks the Board of Supes to create a task force to find out.
